Jamón de Teruel – Cured Ham
It was the first Spanish ham getting the PDO status – to identify authentic products genuinely originating in that region. Jamón de Teruel is internationally known as one of the best white hams in the world. Thanks to the exceptional weather conditions in the province and, of course, thanks to the best jamoneros –experts- of Teruel, this cured ham became famous for its mild flavor, savored taste and for its percentage of fat, qualities that only appear in the highest quality hams.

How to Consume
Jamón de Teruel can be tasted in a thousand ways, but the best way to appreciate its quality is cutting it into thin slices with a knife. According to gourmets, it should be served in a warm plate to intensify its aroma and flavor. You can even be delighted in having some Crianza and Reserva wine.
Both in the province of Teruel and the rest of Spain, Jamón the Teruel is sold in all types of food stores, butchers, supermarkets and department stores, or even in delicatessen stores.
